FAQs

How far in advance should I book my session?

I typically start booking my sessions a month to month and a half in advance. If you know the month you want your session taken, you’re also welcome to let me know in advance and I will hold a spot for you. Then reach out when it’s time to finalize your date and time.

I’m almost a Senior, when should I have my photos taken?

I like to recommend the summer before you officially start your Senior year as once school gets started schedules are a lot more hectic and there’s less flexibility. However, which season you prefer is completely up you! I take Senior photos in all seasons.

What if there’s bad weather on my session date?

If there is bad weather the day of your session we will simply re-schedule. If there’s a 50% chance of rain that day we will most likely re-schedule. I’m really good about contacting you the evening before if I think we need to move your date.

What time of day is ideal for outdoor photos?

A couple hours after sunrise and a couple hours before sunset are ideal times of day for beautiful lighting.

Do you offer photo re-touching?

Every session is re-touched with natural edits. Seniors often require more extensive re-touching which is included in the session fee.

Do you recommend professional hair and makeup for Seniors?

Professional hair and makeup translates to a more polished product. It also eliminates the stress of doing it yourself. Let yourself be pampered for photo day and give yourself that boost knowing your images are going to be amazing!

Can I take a quick family photo during my Senior session?

Unfortunately, no. Senior sessions are designated for seniors only. I’m more than happy to offer you a family session at another dates and time.
